The 3 bedroom, 2,000 square-ft home is situated on 100 feet of lakeshore nestled among majestic pines and birch trees. The large deck is mere steps from the water. Loons, ducks, otters and fish frolic in this peaceful bay of Lake Nebagamon. Bald eagles soar overhead and swoop down for the abundant walleye. Their nests are seen in the tops of 80-ft tall pines across the lake.
Lake Nebagamon is located in northwest Wisconsin, 25 miles southeast of the twin ports of Superior, WI and Duluth, MN. Its is a quaint village with a lovely swimming beach, historical auditorium, several restaurants and bars, small grocery store and gas station, post office, boat launch, watercraft rental and more. And the Dairy Queen is a slice of Americana as one of the oldest in Wisconsin. The lake is a gem. This spring-fed 986 acre lake is clean and cool with a firm sandy bottom. Fish include Panfish, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Northern Pike, Trout and Walleye.
Plenty of activities can be found nearby. We are about 30 minutes from Pattison State Park and Wisconsin's tallest waterfall. The famous Brule River is a short 15 minute drive for some trout fishing and canoeing. Two golf courses are very close by. Madeline Island and Bayfield, Wisconsin are about an hours drive. Duluth, MN offers Canal Park, museums, an aquarium, movies, dining, shopping and more.
